The TAKKT Group is specialized on B2B direct marketing for business equipment. The companies and brands of TAKKT operate in attractive, fragmented markets. They mainly concentrate on the sale of long-lasting equipment at stable prices to business customers in different industries and regions. Sales are carried out as part of an integrated omnichannel approach through the sales and marketing channels web, print and sales representatives. TAKKT AG is responsible for the strategic management, monitoring and the control of the companies according to the same value and growth drivers. The TAKKT group offers young web-focused companies a strong growth platform,too and opens up long-term growth prospects as a reliable partner. In order to keep this promise as well as exploring further plans, they are looking for a Head of Business Development (m/f/x), who will advise all portfolio companies & investments, develop them in a focused way and thus take them together with the TAKKT Group to the next level.

Aufgaben

  • Together with the C-Level you are responsible for the growth and strategic international expansion of the portfolio companies (focus web-commerce) and provide strategic support to the Managing Directors of the portfolio companies
  • Post Merger Integration projects – You are responsible for setting up integration strategies for new brands on getting into the TAKKT Environment
  • Collaboration with management teams of portfolio companies on strategy and its implementation for both international expansion and organizational development
  • You are responsible for business case modeling and the setup and execution of go-to market strategies
  • You will lead and work together with different teams and stakeholders across diverse projects
  • You think ahead and look for further business innovation/ optimization / improvements: Your main question is "What do I need to do to make the brands even more successful?“
  • One part is the scouting and especially implementation of potential innovation topics
  • You identify and leverage synergies, implement best practices and support initiatives around operational excellence in different portfolio companies

Job Anforderungen

  • You have at least 8 to 10 years of experience in operational business development, investment management or management consulting
  • You have experience in dealing with different stakeholders
  • Since the position has an international scope, experience in an international work environment (ideally consulting with web-commerce focus in either UK or US) is important
  • You have excellent English skills
  • You have a high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel, since you act as a consultant for the portfolio companies and have to be on site more often
  • Ideally, you will bring a toolbox of different digital methods with you
  • You have experience in managing and executing M&A and PMI projects
  • You act highly strategical and have a can-do attitude
